Early Booking: Registrations until September 28th 2009 are entitled to a 20% reduction.

The price includes the entry to the eDIT Filmmaker's Festival on all three days and to all side events. Tickets can not be returned.

Registration by fax or post must reach the eDIT festival office by 30.09.2009 at the latest. After this date registration is only possible at the festival itself.

For payments by cheque or transfer please supply your name (please print clearly). After receiving your registration before 30.09.2009 we will send you a confirmation/invoice and on payment you will receive a receipt.


General Terms and Conditions

1. There is no legal right to participation. The organisors of eDIT 12. reserve the right to accept or deny registration to eDIT 12. Registration will be confirmed in writing and is valid only for the person named therein. The organisors are entitled to withdraw acceptance if it was given on the basis of false premises or declarations, or if the requirements for acceptance can no longer be met. Persons who do not adhere to their financial commitments within the given time or who contravene regulations may be barred without notice from participation.

2. With their signature participants agree to the storage of their name and if necessary further details (company and address) for administrative purposes and solely within the bounds of legal regulations.

3. Registered persons are entitled to take part in all events of eDIT 12. Filmmaker’s Festival (talks, discussions, presentations, screenings and workshops) at the festival centre according to seating capacity. Fire regulations specifying the seating capacity for each auditorium will be strictly enforced. This also applies to special events at other venues. Day tickets are valid only for the specified date and not for certain special events. 

4. Photography, film, video and audio and/or visual recording of any other kind are not permitted at eDIT 12. Filmmaker’s Festival. The organisors reserve the right to ban anyone contravening this regulation from the conference and to confiscate and destroy the recorded material.

5. The organisors reserve the right to make changes to the programme at short notice. There is no guarantee for the appearance of particular speakers as cancellations at short notice are possible.

6. The price includes the complete festival documents. At the festival, registered persons receive festival documents and a name tag to serve as an entry pass. Without this name tag entry to eDIT 12. Filmmaker’s Festival events will not be permitted. All name tags will be deposited under the surname of the registered person. To prevent abuse, name tags will only be issued on presentation of the written confirmation of registration. Registration may be transferred to another person on check-in if written confirmation by the registered person can be supplied. Name tags once issued are not transferable.

7. Pre-festival registration is possible until 30.09.2009. We accept the following credit cares: VISA, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express. Online registration is no longer possible after 30.09.2009. Those wishing to register after this time can do so at the registration counter during the festival.

8. Should the eDIT festival office – for whatever reason –  cancel the event, participation fees already paid will be refunded in full. Above and beyond such fees, claims against the eDIT festival office, e.g. cancellation fees for hotels, travel expenses, etc. are invalid and waived. 

9. The presenters and/or organisers accept no liability for damage or injury to participants in conjunction with and/or resulting from registration and/or festival participation, with the exception of damage and/or injury caused by gross negligence or premeditation on the part of the presenters and/or organisers. In the case of damage and/or injury festival participants undertake to claim at first to the insurers, then to the festival centre and finally to the presenters and/or organisers. 

10. Only German law applies. Legal venue is Frankfurt/Main (in as far as a jurisdictional clause is permissible, otherwise the legal venue is the place of fulfilment). Place of fulfilmet ist Frankfurt/Main.

11. For cancellations up to 23.09.2009 the participation price will be refunded minus an administrative fee of EURO 40,--. No refunds are possible for cancellations after this date, for whatever reason. Cancellations must be made in writing. Substitute participants may be named in writing.

12. Coliding Terms of Business: Only these terms ob business and registration apply. Withstandig third Party´s terms of Business are not accepted by the organisators and are regarded as void.
